Children’s charity run

In accordance with its statutes, the Bellinzona Castles & GO Association is presenting this year, for the first time, a special charity race dedicated to children/youths (and their parents) who wish to help other children.

 

What is it all about?

On Saturday 24th May 2025, starting at 04.45 p.m. from Piazza del Sole (presence on site at 04.35 p.m.), there will be a race open to children/youths aged 2 to 19 years who, together with their parents or relatives, upon registration online or on site (from 02.00 p.m. to 04.00 p.m. at the Castles & GO village), will be able to complete as many laps as they wish, up to a maximum of 4, each of 490 metres, in a maximum time of 45 minutes.

 

The registration fee, which is symbolic and regardless of whether a child or parent participates, is CHF 10.-.

 

The entire proceeds will go towards the renovation of the main building of the Culla San Marco in Ravecchia (www.cullasanmarcoamici.ch).

 

The race is not timed and there is therefore no final ranking. The aim is exclusively to register for the simple pleasure of running together, children and parents, having fun and above all in the knowledge that they are doing so for a good, solidarity cause.

 

All registered children will be guaranteed to receive:

 

• small race pack

 

• special bib-reminder dedicated to the charity event (personalised with their name only after online registration by 12.00 noon on Tuesday 20th May 2025)

 

• free photo-souvenir with Emperor Frederick I of Swabia known as “Barbarossa”.

The important thing is not to win, but... to support the children of the Culla San Marco!
